As reported by ijiwei.com, the 2024 Semiconductor Investment Annual Meeting & IC Industry Award Ceremony, sponsored by China Semiconductor Investment Alliance and organized by ijiwei.com, was successfully held at the Kerry Hotel in Beijing on December 16. The annual China IC Industry Awards announced the winners of 30 awards and 60 rankings, with the Jiangsu Xinchao Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Group) receiving the Investment Institution of the Year in China award and finishing 8th in the list of Semiconductor Investment Institutions of the Year in China and 2nd in the list of Industry Investment Institution of the Year (Materials and Equipment). Wang Xinchao, Founder of the Group, won Investor of the Year in China.

The Investment Institutions of the Year in China awards recognize leading semiconductor producers making outstanding contributions, leading in capital and technology, and investing in emerging semiconductor companies.

After reducing its holdings and exiting JCET in 2019, the Group transformed into a private semiconductor and technology equity investment firm managing upwards of CNY 2.6 billion and concentrating on chip design, semiconductor materials, high-end equipment, manufacturing, packaging, and testing, with an investment of more than CNY 2 billion in 86 semiconductor projects and upwards of CNY 1.1 billion in 40 SRDI projects.

This year, the Group invests in 14 projects, of which 7 are SRDI: Jiangsu Sanzer New Materials, Radio Master, Beijing Grand Hitek, AEROTECH, MST Microelectronics, Acela Microelectronics, Guangdong ZIENER Technology, Jiangsu Champhill Microelectronics, Jiangsu AFILM Semiconductors, Shanghai Sitrus Technology, Wuxi Huaying Research, Aspiring Semiconductors, Beijing Xingan Technology, and Jiangsu Silicon Integrity Semiconductor.

Breakthroughs are also made in the Group's investment projects, with 5 companies going public: V-Test on the Star Market, JHT Design on the Main Board, BOTH Engineering Technology on the main board, HHCK Advanced Materials on the Star Market, and Hi-Tech Spring on the Second-Board Market, and 3 registering an IPO: Suzhou JRS Intelligent Technology, Shanghai Natlinear Electronics, and Shanghai EAGTOP Electronics.
