The 8th Annual Jiangsu Young Scientists Conference Semiconductor Elite Forum, co-organized by the Jiangyin Integrated Circuit Design Innovation Center, was held in Jiangyin City on October 25th. The forum received special guidance from the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology and was organized by the Wuxi Association for Science and Technology in conjunction with the Jiangyin Municipal People's Government and the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association.
Chairman of the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association Wang Xinchao and Deputy Director of the Jiangyin Hi-tech Zone Management Committee Zhao Zhijun unveiled the "Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association Science and Technology Service Station." Director of the Academic Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology Li Zheng and Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department Shao Wensong jointly unveiled the "Jiangsu Young Scientists Semiconductor Talent Home."
Wang Xinchao delivered a speech on behalf of the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association in which he expressed his hope that the young semiconductor scientists and corporate representatives attending the forum would take this opportunity to engage in in-depth exchanges on the industry's cutting-edge, seek suitable projects for extensive technical exchanges, leverage domestic intellectual resources and talent, and increase efforts to accelerate the cross-over development of the semiconductor industry.
The forum was conducted online and offline format and divided into three stages. The first stage was the opening ceremony, hosted by Kong Xiaoyan, Chairman of the Jiangyin Association for Science and Technology. The second and third stages consisted of themed speeches and a roundtable forum hosted by JCET Group Senior Vice President Liang Xinfu. Young scientists from universities, research institutions, and other relevant organizations from Jiangsu Province and beyond focused on the forefront of industry research, conducted in-depth technical exchanges, shared the results of their research in semiconductor and integrated circuit technologies and their visions for the future development of the semiconductor and integrated circuit industries. Director of the Academic Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology Li Zheng, Chairman of the Wuxi Municipal Association for Science and Technology Chen Xiaohua, Vice Chairman of the Wuxi Municipal Association for Science and Technology Wang Zhen, Standing Committee Member of the Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department Shao Wensong, Vice Mayor of Jiangyin Zhao Qiang, and Deputy Director of the Jiangyin Hi-tech Zone Management Committee Zhao Zhijun all attended the forum in person.
