The China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association officially released the 2018 China Top 500 Enterprises, Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 500 Service Enterprises at the 2018 China Top 500 Enterprises Summit Forum on the morning of September 2.

According to the 2018 Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises list, manufacturing enterprise revenue grew 2.93% more than for service enterprises, reversing a five-year trend.

In 2018, Xinchao Group ranked 289th, up 17 positions from 2017.

Overall R&D intensity for the 2018 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises was 1.56%, the second highest score since the data began to be recorded and up by 0.11% from 2017. By industry, high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises had the highest R&D intensity, with communication equipment manufacturing enterprises at 11.92%, semiconductor, integrated circuit, and panel manufacturing enterprises at 6.94%, construction machinery, and parts enterprises at 5.21%, and aerospace enterprises at 5.15%.
