Jiangsu Xinchao Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Group), formerly known as Jiangsu Xinchao Technology Group Co., Ltd., has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductors industry and is the founding shareholder of the JCET Group (SH: 600584), the world's third largest semiconductor packaging and testing company, and has been the actual controller of JCET for nearly 20 years from the establishment of JCET in 2000 to the Group’s exit in 2019. JCET successfully acquired STATS ChipPAC in 2015, successfully teaming up with the China Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) that same year. After gradually reducing its holdings and exiting JCET in 2019, the Group underwent a transformation to become a private equity investor in semiconductors and related key and core technologies.

The Group cemented its transformation with the founding of the Jiangyin Integrated Circuit Design Innovation Center and Jinpu Xinchao Capital (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (in conjunction with GP Capital), establishing wholly-owned investment platforms in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. It then set up the Jiangsu Xinchao Innovation Investment Group Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., its very first of this kind, on December 31, 2020, in Jiangyin, also joining hands with a number of leading investment institutions in China and participating as a limited partner in multiple ADDOR Capital and CASSTAR funds. Moreover, the Group has been actively involved in the early stages of a number of quality projects, contributing to the incubation and development of excellent enterprises. The Group has now invested in more than 100 projects, covering the entire industry chain from semiconductor design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing to equipment and materials, nurturing robust resource integration capabilities, deeply empowering investees, and accelerating the growth of the semiconductor industry.
